On Saturday, the 10th day of June 2023, the Chairman & Founder of the FLORENCE AGOGO FOUNDATION, Miss. Florence Agogo (Zinariyan of Gwallameji, Bauchi State) paid an official visit to the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The Founder & Chairman of the Foundation was cheerfully received by the Executive Governor alongside his Deputy, His Excellency, Aminu Abdulssalam, and Chief of Staff, Hon. Shehu Wada Sagagi.
During the visit, Miss. Florence Agogo began by formally introducing the FLORENCE AGOGO FOUNDATION to the Leadership of the State. Amongst other things, she stated the many laudable and developmental strides and achievements the Foundation has recorded since its inception. She said the establishment of the foundation was borne out of her passion and penchant desire to serve humanity and she is glad that thus far, the Foundation has not failed in the fulfillment of its aims and objectives. Miss. Florence Agogo also underscored the need for Leaders of various strata and sectors to put the people they are leading first for the purpose of achieving a just society.
The Executive Governor of the State in his response began by applauding and commending immensely the efforts of the Founder of the Foundation. He described her as a young visionary and philanthropist whilst thanking her greatly for bearing the vision to establish the Foundation. The Executive Governor was greatly delighted and promised to be a part of the Foundation’s activities. He said the doors of the state are wide open at all times to receive the Foundation and support its various programs and projects it intends to execute in the State.
He concluded his speech by endorsing the Foundation and charging Miss. Florence Agogo to continue in the many goods she is doing.
Miss Florence Agogo thanked the Executive Governor and his entourage for the audience and pledged her unwavering and unflinching commitment towards fulfilling the objectives of the foundation. She assured the Governor that in due course, the foundation shall execute certain projects and programs for the collective good of the People of Kano State.
